The holidays are a special time to spend with family and friends, and create traditions that will last a lifetime. Christmas is no different, and when it comes to celebrating with my blended family, we like to keep things simple but meaningful. One of our favorite traditions is wearing matching pajamas on Christmas day!
Why We Wear Matching Pajamas on Christmas Day
Not only do I love the idea of us all looking festive yet comfortable while opening presents together, but thereโs something magical about having us all wear something in unison. Itโs like a symbol of solidarity and reminds us of how blessed we are to be able to spend these moments together. Plus, itโs just fun to take pictures in our matching holiday outfits!
This year is extra special for us because three of the kids get to spend time with their Dad on Christmas day so, this year we decided to open some presents the day after Christmas so that everyone can be together. And if you know anything about my family, you know we will still be wearing our matching pajamas!
Building Lasting Memories
As our family grows, so too does the number of matching pajama sets. From plaid flannels to whimsical onesies โ every set has its own unique look which brings smiles to everyoneโs faces. But more importantly, our tradition creates lasting memories that I know will stay with us for years to come. That’s why when the holidays come around each year I look forward to doing what my grandparents did for their children and I’m grateful for being able to carry on this tradition with my own family.
No matter how you decide celebrate the holidays this year โ whether it be wearing pajamas or not โ just remember what itโs all about: spending quality time with those you care most about and creating memories together that will last a lifetime. Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays from my family to yours! 🤗❤️🎄💚❤️🥰👨👩👧👦😊😊😊🤗❤️🎄💚❤️🥰👨👩👧👦😊😊😊✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨
