Terron and I “met” through a dating site. On this site both users must show mutual interest for any direct communication to begin. In this there may be a foreshadowing of the beautiful relationship to come. Because of the online nature of our initial meeting Terron and I spent our first day talking on the phone early one Sunday morning, for hours. We talked every day that week leading up to our first date.
Terron knew I was special when he first saw me online and in the subsequent phone/FaceTime conversations, however the first date sealed the deal between the two. Terron made dinner reservations at an Italian restaurant by the name of Damian’s Cucina Italiana. We enjoyed a meal and even better, each others company. On April 27th things were made official coincidentally this date happens to be my “Deltaversary.”
After this we have experienced many wonderful memories including a blended family trip to Sea World in San Antonio.
These events plus many more culminated in our marriage engagement with Terron proposing on June 20, 2020. At this proposal Terron surprised me with what I thought was only supposed to be a day of pampering with visits to the nail salon, hair salon, and a relaxing brunch along with other activities with my sisters.
When I returned home I found Terron waiting outside for me as I was getting out of my sisters vehicle. Terron was dressed very nicely.
When I entered our home it had been transformed into a candlelit romantic lakeside scene. Playing on the big screen TV was a video highlighting our relationship. (Watch the video on our YouTube Channel https://youtu.be/TSfqlMIn1fA )
There was also a personal chef who had closely recreated the dinner from our first date at Damian’s Cucina Italiana. Before dessert Terron presented me with a custom made 1ct diamond engagement ring from New York and asked me to be his wife.
I said yes to forever through tears, kisses, and hugs. I felt so special and was literally amazed that Terron proposed to me! I was five months pregnant and glowing, however I had insecurities because Terron and I were not engaged or married. This display of love and reassurance was just what I needed!
